It has been a busy year. I had to stay off photography for the most part. Just trying to get back into editing so I can slowly ease my way back! I was in Ohio and had a day off. Found a lovely, low flowing creek right off a picnic spot.
Channeling Robert Browning - The words of that great poet, Robert Browning, indeed seem to fit many a scene out there. Enjoyed the peace and quiet during a light drizzle, at a famous vista point in the Bay Area, reminding me that for photographers, the camera and the scene are the true elixir...
American Pika - I am not usually that focused on getting "lifetime" shots, but I was invited to participate in as best a photographic experience as I could muster under low, evening light, by this loud American Pika. The cropping and High ISO has produced noise, but, it is a small price to pay for an excellent memory, at one of my most favorite trails, the Nunatak Nature Trail at Inyo National Forest.
Tranquil - Isn't it amazing that even when the Ocean is roaring with waves, it brings us inner peace? I experienced inner peace, as I spent the last few moments of a wonderful day at the Jug Handle State Natural Reserve on a cold, wintry day as I tested my then brand new Canon EOS 5DsR.
