Icon of the Virgin of Kazan. This icon of the Virgin Mary with the child Jesus is a copy of the 17TH century of the icon discovered in the city of Kazan in 1579. It was believed that the original icon helped the Russian troops to liberate Moscow from Polish occupation in 1612.
