Imperial Russian tunic of a senior officer of the Moscovski Guard Infantry Regiment, circa 1907. Imperial green wool double breasted tunic with red collar, cuffs and piping. Collar and cuffs richly embroidered in a gold bullion oak leaf pattern, now age darkened, unique to this regiment. Has a matched pair of gold bullion epaulettes, faced in red, with applied silvered Nicholas II crowned ciphers, and a white adjutant's aiguillette with silver crowns and points. German;Eigentumsstück (private purchase) Model 1895 NCO's Waffenrock from Sachsen (Saxon) Kgl. Sächs. Schützen (Füsilier)-Regiment Prinz Georg Nr.108, Dresden, XII Armee Korps. Sachsen NCOs above the rank of Unteroffizier wore gilt NCO lace around the collar and cuffs of the Waffenrock, however, only Sachsen NCOs for Jäger, Train, and Schützen also wore the NCO lace on the top of the Tschako as well. The Waffenrock is made from a high quality Dunkelgrün (dark green) doeskin wool.
