Pretty Woman (1990). Richard Gere plays a businessman who ruthlessly takes over other companies. He hires a woman off the street, played by Julia Roberts, to spend the week with him. Slowly they change each other for the better. You would think the premise wouldn't work, but somehow it does in this romantic comedy that feels like a modern day Cinderella story. Perfectly cast.
