Last Lakota code talker Clarence Wolf Guts dies at 86. When the towers of the World Trade Center fell on Sept. 11, 2001, Clarence Wolf Guts asked his son to call the U.S. Dept. of Defense to see if the country needed his code talking abilities to find Osama Bin Laden. Wolf Guts was in his late 70s at the time, so his son, Don Doyle, did not make the call, but said the request personified his father's love of country. "He still wanted to help. He was trying to still be patriotic." ~Doyle.. <3 Native American History, American Heritage, Native American Indians, Native Americans, American Symbols, North American, Gi Joe, Code Talker, Navajo

One of the most suppressed and hidden stories of African and African American history is the story of the 1811 Slave Revolt. Over 500 Africans, from 50 different nations with 50 different languages, would wage a fight against U.S. troops and the territorial militias. The revolt was put down by Jan. 11. The leaders were captured, placed on trial and later executed. Their heads were cut off and placed on spikes that stretched over 60 miles. Black Art, Rodney King, Kings & Queens, White Supremacy
