Robusta coffee is very largely produced in Uganda. It is native to the region. 1.7 million farmers rely on coffee. 85% of coffee grown is Robusta. 5.7 million coffee bags were exported in 2022. This study was conducted as part of an Architectural Project for a Coffee Park in Wayanad. Coffee cultivation is traditionally done in a highly sustainable fashion.
