Vintage Postmodern Towel or Coat Rack, 1970s

Rare towel rail in postmodern design language. An object with character. The striking stand seems almost alive and displays a shape reminiscent of a totem. The design is formed by a large, circumferential bracket that describes an arc at the top and ends in a heavy foot at the bottom. The parallel verticals are fitted with movable elements to hold towels and other bathroom utensils. The arms, hooks and rings are pivoted and can be individually aligned. The heavy foot provides secure footing.
