Melanie meets Mitch in a bird shop. Sparks fly between them with Melanie special ordering the birds for his little sister he said he wanted. She tries to deliver them to his apartment, finds out he's gone for the weekend to his childhood seaside home and makes the hours long journey. Not long after she arrives a deadly attack with all kinds of species of birds in the area ensues, and it's not clear if they'll survive.
