Set of Three Heavy Duty Riveted Railroad Trestle Table Legs

Product details
The pictured table legs are inspired by the railroad bridges and other late 19th and early 20th century industrial construction found throughout the Pittsburgh area. Every piece for sale in this store is made entirely by hand in my own shop as a tribute to the craftsmen who came before us. Construction begins with locally sourced hot rolled steel strip and angle. The metal pieces are sawed to length using an antique industrial power hacksaw. Holes for the rivets are punched by hand with a compound leverage punching tool. Each of the several hundred rivets are heated individually with a torch and set with either a vintage pneumatic mechanical press or a pneumatic rivet hammer; just like over a hundred years ago.
These legs are 29" high, 35" across and 9" wide. Each leg is equipped with four threaded leveling feet to compensate for irregular floors or tabletops. The addition of a table top with a thickness between one and three inches results in a finished height of somewhere between 30" and 32"(normal dining table height). All of my work is made to order so I am happy to build larger or smaller or finish with any color that you may require.
