Night so peaceful. This is enough was always true. - Rumi, excerpt of This Is Enough (tr. by Coleman Barks)

Lost and Found by Alexis Coram Behind a Yellowstone forest devastated by fire, the Milky Way thrives in the night. I love space and all it can offer.

I don't normally shoot at night since I'm an old man and usually passed out by 10 due to my normal work/sunrise schedule. Last night, however, @esesbe and I decided to have an adventure and head out to Lost Lake for the night. Much beer was consumed, many photos were shot, and little sleep was had. Can you believe that it was my first time to Lost Lake and first attempt at shooting the Milky Way (still not sure if i did it right)? Definitely a night to remember!

Sometimes at night I would sleep open-eyed underneath a sky dripping with stars. I was alive then. - Albert Camus, Return to Tipasa

This picture is important because in Greek mythology Typhon was so tall that his head touched the stars.

Starry night in a rural field just as beautiful as the daytime sunlit wide open spaces view.
