I remember the first time I saw mounted men charge down at a wall of spears and shields. There were men holding those shields. And children too. The beasts charging down on them were glorious to behold. They make horses seem slow and weak. The men and children holding spears and shields didn't stand a chance. It was my first Victory as commander of the Dark. I will never forget the carnage . . . it was beautiful.
