A vintage 1930's brass spider pin with a bright red bakelite abdomen. The spider has a pin stem and catch unit with a safety catch, 8 curved brass legs and a brass head with eyes. Note the bit of cotton peeking out of the hole in the center of the legs - meant for a drop of perfume. This would have made the spider sweet smelling! He has a small bit of tarnish on the brass, but the bakelite is in beautiful condition.
