Stained glass piece is approximately 3-4 inches long depending on shape. Hanger and bottom dangling pieces add up to about 12 inches altogether.

I began making these hanging stained glass sun catchers years ago and they have always been popular with my customers and even my family!

I make these pieces using the copper foil method. I choose my glass colors and textures, cut to size and shape, grind the edges and clean, then wrap each piece with copper foil. The flux is applied to the foil so that melted metal (solder) can adhere and hold it all together. Following this everything is carefully cleaned once again and waxed to make it shine! I add metal rings to each end so that I can string it all together with glass beads to enhance the design and add more sparkle and color.

I have made so many different varieties, including these as shown with 3, 2 or 1 pieces of glass; I adjust the price accordingly so if your space allows room for more length, please send me a note and I can quote a price!
