Illustrator and Surface Designer Amy Brown loves to work with primary colors, especially ultramarine blue. This light and airy ditsy floral pattern caught our eye this week. The colors play well on the white background with dark contrasting textural leaves. Lots of Amy's designs are painted by hand showing lots of paintbrush texture.

Maria Sara of Utrecht, Netherlands was inspired to paint warm summer flowers on a dreary December day recently. Maria painted these with gouache and edited the paintings in Photoshop to make a repeating pattern. We love the deep purple tones with the pops of bright colors.
