cool-cut up a large print into a bunch of small frames and arrange to create the picture again. Not the deer though for my house.

Actaeon: The facelessness of the deer reminds me of Actaeon because he has lost his sense of self and what he was, as well as the fact that he is now generic; just another animal to be hunted. The endlessness of the antlers suggests the overwhelming nature of his transformation and his lack of escape, as well as the twisted nature of the forest he must run through. The blurred lines could be his tears.

I seriously have a thing for artwork that feature deer with tree-like antlers.

The tree deer, seems like a fairy tale character. And someone out there would kill this beautiful creature for their glory ----------- *Just to clarify, the above message was already with this picture when I pinned it. I wouldn't mind that on my wall to show off those amazing (photoshopped) antlers. ;) Hehe

White Stag/ Deer/ Elk... The Native Americans believed the occurance of a white animal was a huge sign of prophecy – a sign from the great spirit that a major shift in their world was to come. Usually, white animals were seen during soul-quests, or vision-quests. When white occurs in the animal realm it is a message of higher thoughts, higher ideals, purity of soul, cleansing of spirit and attaining higher knowledge.
