Favorite beer ever. First had it when visiting my sister in Chicago. This belgian style brew is refreshing and crisp. It's like a bottle of champagne had a baby with the best beer in the universe that was laid by a goose. Sofie's sister, Goose Island "Matilda," is also a very good beer, but on the sweeter side - great for a glass, but I could tap Sofie all night.

Fernet Aged Porter - Odell Brewing. 9.8ABV. Fernet on the nose, with an absent porter. Yeast and Fernet on the palate, Fernet on the finish with a bit of coffee. For me it was fairly one dimensional Big Beer, great taste, unique. Had something missing.

Farmhand Ale. Every beer we try from Driftwood is amazing. I like to think this beer is part of my cultural heritage.
