French Conjugation of Être - To be
Être in French, just like in English “to be“, is one of the most commonly used verb. The conjugation of Être is fully irregular and should be learnt by heart. Être is used in many French verbs conjugated with être in compound tenses such as passé composé. Compound tenses of être such as passé composé, plus-que-parfait, and more, are built with the auxiliary avoir. The signification of être changes when followed by the preposition à or de, see below. French Conjugation of Venir - To Come
The French word Venir – To come, in French is a verb conjugated with the auxiliary être in compound tenses such as passé composé, plus-que-parfait, etc. Because venir is conjugated with the auxiliary être, it agrees in gender and number with the subject when conjugated in compound tenses.
