New restaurant at Nizhniy Novgorod. The restaurant’s interior philosophy was inspired by avant-garde painter’s, Kazimir Malewicz, works which have stipulated several major elements of the space. Statuesque black metal stairway having only one supporting point as if hovering in between two floors has become not only focal but also imprinted in the restaurant’s logo. It’s shape was inspired by the earlier works of the painter. The interior colour scheme - deep blue, variety of greyish shades, black, cain and green – complex, intricate, strong and saturated colours from his works – were supplemented by hairline copper, brass details as well as several types of Italian marble. And certainly one of the most outstanding design elements is avant-garde wall and ceiling painting of the main parlours – so quaint, graphic, vivid, absolutely remoulding and transforming the canonical interior.
