The second I saw it, I knew I needed to at least try to restore it. It was a beast of a job, but I stripped, sanded and restained it, updated the hardware and I absolutely love it! I didn’t prime (had no clue self-priming paint was even a thing!) which obviously meant streaky paint that chipped faster than a my enthusiasm for sanding 😅 And if that wasn’t enough, I managed to spill the whole tin on my freshly sanded floorboards. Honestly, a story for another time... But I didn’t give up… and now here we are, Lovelies.
