The Honey Locust tree, such a wicked & terrible thing! The one where I grew up had 12 inch long thorns. I've stepped on them barefoot and had to hobble all the way home.
Have you read the story about the man, they made a crown out of these thorns and pushed in onto his head, yes he started bleeding, read the book 'John', it's really a true story too.
I have a Crown of Thorns on my wall. It is a beautiful piece of art with a daily spiritual reminder. LB
He bore the Crown of Thorns for me, so I will create one to remember him. It will be made of nails, broken chains, 'thorns'(metal that looks like thorns) maybe barbed wire, and a message on the front. All dipped in red paint.
