For quite some time now I have really wanted an excuse to throw a 20s party. I am so interested in obsessed with the era. After a few weeks of thinking about how fun it would be I decided I really didn't need an excuse so I just set the date! I started to fish for ideas online for costumes and decor and was surprised that I couldn't really find a whole lot. 30th birthday murder mystery party with a 1920's theme! In this blog, I share how it works, some tips, and a shopping guide with decor and costume ideas. This would also be a fun idea for a halloween or new years party! We did diy decor with gold spray painted liquor and wine bottles, filled with ostrich feathers and adorned with pearls. Accompanied by gold votive candles, bud vases with roses, faux cigarette holders, and fringe and sequins.

Roaring Twenties Decoration - Bootleg Stash box: For my sister-in-law's Goodbye to her Roaring Twenties Party. I just sprayed a box matte brown and some bottles. Bottle corks from Joann's (I should have got bigger ones), some old wine corks and newspaper for filling the box!
