Tree Tags

I have a whole box of the world�s ugliest gelli prints. I spent one afternoon bringing out the gelli plate again and decided to fix them. When doing gelli�s I always just use white paint and reinker for color to make clean up much easier. Well some are hopeless, horrendous color and useless patterns. My next fix is spread paint on the gelli, usually a neutral like ivory and dip the whole thing on the paint. That�s what I did with this background. Since it was void of any interest, I…

This started as a very mundane, neutral and pale gelli print. I pulled out my airbrush and added color with copic R's and YR's over stencils although the pattern did not show up well. Having invested in product to foil and failing miserably, I decided to just put the whole thing through the laminator with a sheet of foil and surprise!
