Swayambunath is a Tibetan Buddhist religious complex located in the Kathmandu Valley, and one of the precious sites on UNESCO's World Heritage list. One of the most recognized portions of the stupa are the 'Buddha Eyes'. These eyes are surmounted by a third eye, said to emanate cosmic rays which act as messengers to heavenly beings to come and listen to the teachings of Lord Buddha.
