In this After Break Build A Snowman Winter Activity students can drag and drop Accessories to create 2 Snowman per page. Students can choose from multiple Scarves, Buttons, Carrot Noses, and Hats to Decorate the Snowmen. This activity could be used as a writing prompt, an incentive, assigned for fun, or for students that finish work early. Note: Students are able to slide extra accessories off the page when they have finished decorating. This way they have only snowmen in a winter scene.
Since there are a lot of letters that my young students are expected to learn, I like rewarding them for their efforts after they master each letter of the alphabet with a unique reward tag.  Receiving something special to celebrate their efforts (especially if they have been struggling) can energize their desire to learn more, rekindle enthusiasm about learning, & restore their confidence & commitment.
