This is called successive blending - you blend the first two sounds and then add on more sounds as you go. This helps kids: 🩷 blend sounds into words  ❤️ not lose their place when they’re reading words  🧡 not make up sounds as they go (“c-a-t” - chips 🤨) 💛 they won’t sound like a robot 🤖   The first method I showed is one that I’ve used for years.
