The Garden of Eden....post-apocalyptic style. (Taken in the East Village on 6th Street between Ave A and 1st Ave) You'd think more spots like these existed in the East Village, but not anymore. The once depraved neighborhood is now one of the most expensive hoods in the city. This lot is one of the few remaining reminders of the old days. It's a side of New York you don't see very often anymore.
