This garden had a slightly odd shape, with dense neighbouring tree cover which made it difficult for grass to grow. The brief was to create a more contemporary look with different colours and textures, with a variety of seating areas using paving, wood decking and gravelled areas which would break up the space. We were also asked to incorporate raised beds and water features for added interest.
