Millefiori quilts

Today's quilts include all the quilts I saw in the RMQM exhibit made from patterns by Willyne Hammerstein. Probably the most "famous" pattern of hers is La Passacaglia, which include all the quilts shown here except the second one. A couple of these ladies said this was their first attempt at English Paper Piecing. I'm not sure they could've picked a more difficult pattern! Another of those focus fabrics that sure gave a lot of different looking blocks! I was pleased with the white secondary design that formed around the octagons :)

I'll start with my quilt, which was the Millefiori Quilt Along pattern by Katja Marek based on her book The New Hexagon. There were five quilts in the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum exhibit based on this pattern! I love how different they all are! Enjoy!!
