First, you need to buy the £18 Cheshire Mouldings panelling kit from B&Q, OR if you know your exact measurements, buy a sheet of MDF and get it cut at B&Q. Personally I prefer the lazy girl method and bought the kit. 2. Stick your bottom and side panels on first, using No More Nails. 3. Work out your spacing for your middle panels - see my 'How To Measure Panelling Spacing' reel (saved to my Panelling highlight) for a tutorial. Essentially you need to measure the space between the two end panels, take away the total width of the middle panels and divide by the number of spaces (4 panels = 5 spaces). 4. Make a mark on the wall where each panel will go, then double check your measurements(!) and stick them on. 5. Materials - make sure you’ve got everything you need, including your Panels by Sofia MDF Strips, adhesive, tape measure, level, saw, sandpaper, and paint. Plus remember to take a before photo if you’re wanting to show off your handy work 💁🏼‍♀️📸   Step 2. Design - measure your wall from side to side and top to bottom, choose your horizontal and vertical spacing and cut your strips to measure. Sketch it out on paper before penciling your design on the wall using your level. A laser level isn’t essential but will make your life easier.   Step 3. Mount your strips - apply adhesive to the back of your MDF strips and position them on the wall. 2.7K views · 4.1K reactions | DIY Wall Panelling ✨ I’m so excited that we have made a start on turning the spare bedroom into a nursery for baby boy 👶🏼🤍 • 2 X Cheshire Mouldings Medium-density fibreboard (MDF) shaker wall panelling kit from @bandq_uk at £18.97 per kit. • 1 x No Nails glue to glue the panel pieces on the wall. £5 a tube • 1x Decorates Caulk for the edges. £1.30 a tube • 1x Polycell White Ready mixed Filler, 0.33kg £3.97 • 1 tin of wood primer. We used the Good Home Primer & under coat. £14 for a 750ml tin. And then your chosen paint colours. We had plenty of left over paint from previous projects. We used @duluxuk Egyptian Cotton on the walls and @lick White 07 for the panelling ( previously gifted). Next to do in here now is take up the laminate and lay some Egyptian Cotton Paint, Wall Boards Panels, Shaker Wall Panelling, Wood Accent Wall Bedroom, Shaker Wall, Mdf Wall Panels, Wood Primer, White Wall Bedroom, Room Accent Wall

Jade Sweeney on Instagram: "ad STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO PUTTING UP THE £18 PANELLING KIT As requested 🥰 here is a slowed down version of the step by step Process of putting up the £18 panelling kit I got from @bandq_uk . This is part 1 and part 2 will be the wall light hack coming in a couple of days Here are a few extra tips I couldn’t get in the voiceover, inspired by the wall panelling guide from @bandq_uk! To work out even spacing I find drawing it out easiest! Roughly lay up against your wall how many panels you want. And then sketch it. Each panel strip is 10cm. So for me wall width was 310cm. I had 7 panels (10cm each) = 70cm. On my drawing this left me with 6 spaces between each panel. So 310-70= 240cm . 240cm/6 spaces = 40cm even gap between each panel piece.
