388 Barkly Street is a thoughtful adaptive reuse of a warehouse to create a series of sophisticated, sustainably-designed homes in Brunswick.

An internal pocket courtyard acts as a light well, open air shower, and 'solar chimney'. Working as a solar chimney the courtyard allows heat to escape up the vertical space, drawing cool air into the house through the oversize sliding glass doors that open up both ends of the house.
