I cannot afford IKEA's closet sliding doors and I was wondering if there are any hacks that can turn a regular wardrobe door to a sliding door?

We changed the boiler to a combi a while ago, so we no longer needed the airing cupboard. In its place, we wanted a PAX with sliding wardrobe doors.

I thought I'd already found the best example of a BILLY hack already and then this project came to my attention...
