Perhaps the strangest thing about zebra centaurs is their double personality. During the day they are pleasant creatures, rather friendly to humans (though this doesn't mean they won't gobble one up from time to time) and they sometimes escort caravans for a while just for the sake of chatting and exchanging news. Carousel at House on the Rock - The carousel was unveiled in 1981 after 10 years of construction. It's 35 feet tall, 80 feet wide, & weighs 35 tons. There are more than 20,000 lights. The carousel features 269 hand-crafted animals, but not one is a horse. There are unicorns & zebras & other horse-like creatures, but no regular horses.
