Ded Moroz- Russian myth: "old man frost". He is a version of Santa Claus. He is depicted as a man with a long beard, a heel-length fur coat, a semi-round fur hat, jackboots and wielding a magic staff. He brings gifts to good children personally.

is a Soviet film originally released in 1964. It was based a traditional Russian fairy tale Morozko known in English as Jack Frost. A fairy-tale about a conceited young man and a young woman with a tyrannical step-mother, who must overcome magical trials in order to be together.
