Experience 'Spirit Cloud,' a 3D installation of 33,000 freshwater pearls. Inspired by garden stones and auspicious clouds, the piece forms a three-dimensional pointillist image, merging elements of water and air, sky and earth.

Artist Berndnaut Smilde combines sophisticated lighting and meticulously controlled interior atmospheric conditions with simple smoke machines to create these awesome images.

The Cloud, El Paso, Texas. This sculpture arises from a sunken roundabout that also functions as a pedestrian underpass. The Cloud is constructed from thousands of hinged, enameled, stainless steel flaps that move in the breeze. The work is at the edge of the University of Texas, El Paso campus, which is unique for its Bhutanese architecture. Bhutan is known as "the kingdom in the clouds."

Created by artist Kohei Nawa (previously here and here) for the 2013 Aichi Triennale, Foam is an immsersive cloud-like installation made from huge plumes of amorphous bubbles, meant to mimic a bleak primordial landscape.
