Embroidery Sign - Complete

Last night, I put the last gruelling stitches in my embroidery sign. It took me longer to stitch up this sign than I expected, but I figure that's for two reasons: 1. I never spent a whole long span of time on it; and 2. I kept thinking it shouldn't be taking so long! Which only made it seem longer!

Bird Silhouettes

I have been meaning to do an embroidery of some simple bird silhouettes for awhile and every time I spy these mugs in the kitchen I remind myself to do it. This week I finally got around to making one. I don't know why it has taken me so long to get around making something so quick as the materials were items already hanging about the house. Filled in with straight stitch and straight stitch for the wire. ( Mine turned out quite wonky though )
