Be vulnerable

Brené Brown defines vulnerability as "uncertainty, risk, and emotional exposure." Her work and research have concluded that vulnerability is integral to healthy relationships with self and others. So how do we get comfortable with being vulnerable? It comes with strengthening another skill within ourselves: COURAGE. How do we boost courage? ⁠Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the choice that something else is more important than fear.

It takes courage to be vulnerable and open up to others, but doing so can bring immense rewards. When we show our softer, more authentic side, we build deeper connections with others and foster a sense of trust and understanding. Being soft and vulnerable also allows us to be more in touch with our emotions, better understand and express our needs, and connect with others on a deeper level.
