Bad typography design

For our seminar on 11/11/2011 we had to bring three examples of good and three examples of bad typography. These were my examples, the top line being good type. A point that was raised during the seminar was, was a measure of how good the typography design is, how legible the words are. I would disagree with this, because some typography design, hasn’t actually been designed to be legible, they are using the letters to draw with rather than to communicate. No use of negative space and to many different fonts

Bad example of Typography - I feel that this is a bad example of typography because the placement of each text is packed tightly together, making it difficult for us to read. Also, the kerning of the text is also close to each other. Not only that, this poster does not use colours to emphasise on the main points.

This week's challenge technically wasn't a challenge for me; bad typography exists everywhere.
