Living in a 130+ year old farmhouse has been my dream for as long as I can remember... despite the fact that they are filled with crazy sloped ceilings, unique bump-outs, and weird closets that can make organizing a bit more frustrating! One of the crazy closets in our house is in the boy's new shared bedroom upstairs. I recently gave this closet a mini makeover and fully maximized the space! Come check it out!

We also knew we wanted to mix old with new, and incorporate natural elements – and this was our laundry list of things were were sure of! Now how to make it work?It was a bit of a challenge, being a third floor bedroom, dealing with the sloped ceilings and the smaller square footage. We had so much fun creating this space.

Name: Lily (1) Location: Ravenna neighborhood, Seattle, Washington We are lucky enough to have a spacious nursery – it’s half of a converted attic (the other half is our bedroom, so we are never far). We wanted a room that would grow with Lily, and that includes personal touches. We had to design around some weird attic doors, and the sloping ceiling. We are in a rental, so major renovations aren’t an option.
