Another day, another employee horror story coming out of the U.S. After yesterday's pooping meme saga, in which a man got fired for sharing a joke on his Facebook wall, now we have an employee getting terminated for 2 weeks in hospital with a serious illness.

In a comment on one of my recent posts, someone used the phrase “art for profit” in an attempt to be negative. But rather than an insult, that’s a dream! I feel so incredibly lucky that my “work” is something I absolutely love—painting the fascinating, endless variety of human faces.
