Ancient lightsaber

This is the final model for the Ancient Force-Imbued Blade in Star Wars: The Old Republic. I was very excited to make this weapon as I really wanted to create the antitheses of the Ancient Sith Lord's Warblade. I wanted to hearken back to a time when the user had to imbue the force into a blade; it was loosely inspired by The Force Wars. All art was overseen and critiqued by the Art Director, Carrie Meade, and Lead Monetization Artist, Brad Lewis.

Quick and dirty custom lightsaber, did in a couple hours and felt it looked cool enough for the portfolio!

I'm a huge Star Wars fan so I wanted to create my own design of a lightsaber. This is one version I came up with. All aspects were done in Blender with some color grading done in Photoshop.

These are another commission I did for a client, they allowed me a lot of creative freedom with these pieces and was quite fun blocking out the designs and overall great experience working with them.
