We need to break the silence! Dispatchers suffer, day in and day out. We are nearly 100% on our own, between Co-workers, Bosses, Officers, Deputies, Fire, Rescue and Public screaming at us all day it's no wonder burn out is 3-5 years in this job. You please no one, you are never thanked and we make as much money as a Secretary ( and in some cases less) who has never had 30 seconds to make a life saving or changing decision. Wake Up America.
