New Set for Bookbinders We Offer at Our Webshop
Earlier, we had a set that included our 3d-printed signature punching tool and four corner cutting jigs of different sizes (1.5 mm, 2 mm, 2.5 mm, and 3 mm). We decided to extend this set and included four corner clamps for boxmaking. Guides for the punching tools have their holes numbered, and the numbers are printed in a contrasting color for better visibility. We received multiple reviews from our customers mentioning that this is very helpful, especially for people with impaired vision.
Using iBookBinding's Corner Cutting Jigs
Another video made by one of our customers/followers. This time it was Sarah Miner (@minerbookco on Instagram), showing how our corner cutting jigs are used. Check all the different types and sizes at our Etsy store (link in bio). The jigs come with different thicknesses of the wall, so that you can choose one that corresponds to the thickness of the cardboard you use for your book covers. Thicknesses vary from 1 mm to 6 mm (1/4").
Signature Punching Tool from iBookBinding
Here is a video made by the Instagram user @cadernosmusgo that perfectly shows how our signature punching cradles are used! And I love to see how different bookbinders make all these different markings on their tools :) Should I make some additional updates to the design to make making the stations easier?

Wow! I love this combination of colors!
Olive/bronze is used as the main color with digits printed in black. It looks really impressive! (even better in real life) Check the link in bio to see all of our tools and find the videos showing how the punching cradle and corner cutting is are used!

New Item: Holder for Tombow Glue
Now available at our shop: a holder for Tombow glue. The idea was suggested by one of our customers. As it appears, Tombow glue has a huge fandom for its two options of the application. Especially the "pen tip".

Updated Version of the Small Press for Bookbinding
Updated Version of the Small Press for Bookbinding My carpentry-meets-bookbinding experience had a passed through a vigorous revival period in 2015. I’ve started my own bookbinding courses then and decided to make a set of simple tools (including a sewing frame) for each of my students. I don’t think it would be a mistake to say that I’ve made more than a hundred sewing frames since that moment.
