At the beginning of the new year, many Americans resolve to lose weight. Unfortunately, some of them turn to unhealthy methods of losing weight, such as adopting a trendy fad diet, overdoing it at the gym, or creating unreasonable goals for themselves. Luckily, Healthy Weight Week (January 18-24) is upon us, and it’s a time for people to ditch the crazy diets and instead eat well, be active, and focus on treating themselves in a healthy manner.
