This is a Chesapeake Waterman's Bracelet I did up in #18 natural cotton. It is made with 3, 40" lengths of string, middle, with a 3 strand braid catch loop, into a 4 strand foot rope knot (2 from each side of the loop, and the remaining 2 in the core), then a 6 strand half round or reefing braid with a star knot catch.
