Paris, BnF, ms. fr. 5230 The Bellenville armorial dates from the late 14th century. Author and commissioner are unknown, but the text is written in Dutch, therefore it was probably made somewhere in the historical Netherlands. The armorial consists of two parts. The first part contains coats of arms of European nobles structured by lords. The second part seems to be a collection of occasional rolls of arms of tournaments, military campaigns or the Prussian voyages.
