Vincent Crane - Musician, Songwriter. He was born in Reading, Berkshire, and graduated in 1964 from Trinity College of Music. After a short spell as a teacher, he became organist and pianist with The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, and wrote "Fire", their number one hit of 1968. He went on to form Atomic Rooster, who had two big hits in 1971, "Tomorrow Night" and "The Devil's Answer". Atomic Rooster disbanded in 1984 and he joined Dexy's Midnight Runners the following year.
