Naturally Repair Wood With Vinegar and Canola Oil. ~ Use 3/4 cup of oil, add 1/4 cup vinegar. white or apple cider vinegar, mix it in a jar, then rub it into the wood. You don’t need to wipe it off; the wood just soaks it in.
For medium to heavy scratch markks lightly sand the scratches and the area around them, apply gel stain to match. For a few light marks I have read you can rub with walnut (editable part) and oils will mask mark. Nutty solution will probably wear fade as oils are absorbed deeper into the scratched raw wood.
