Serval | Mark Dumont

The Serval is a solitary animal, social interactions are limited to mating and each sex maintains its own territory.

SERVALS.....also called the Tierboskat, the Bush cat and the Giraffe cat....live along the waterways in the savannas and forests of Central and South Africa....average 2 to 3 feet long with 1 to 2 foot tail....weigh 20 to 40 pounds....have the longest legs and largest ears for its body size of any cat....can run 45-50 miles per hour.....Ancient Egyptians worshipped the serval for its power and grace....widespread in southern Africa

I would not recommend having a Serval as a pet but a Savannah or lower. More cat like with markings.

This male white serval, Pharoah, is super adorable and a part of a great rescue I was recently introduced to called the Big Cat Rescue. http://bigcatrescue.org/
