PECS: Picture Exchange Communication System

PECS--Picture Exchange Communication System is an AAC intervention package to develop communication skills in students who are nonverbal or have other communication disabilities. Begins by teaching an individual to give a picture of a desired item to a partner, who honors the exchange as a request. This system is 6 phases long and progressively teaches the student to eventually put the pictures into sentences and answer questions and comments.

Exclusive home of PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) and the Pyramid Approach to Education. Internationally acclaimed workshops and consulting services to the Autism community.
