Parent/ Teacher Conferences & put this out for the parents. It was so cute having the kids write about what they're proud of their learning so far (yesterday) and the parent comments added today are even sweeter!
Standard interacting with other educators and contributing to the school. Teachers can help contribute to the school by collecting box tops from parents. What a fun way to collect Box Tops for Education. In a mailbox love it!
Parent/Teacher Collaboration - A great idea for conferences or meet-the-teacher nights. The teacher makes a board of some handouts perfect for practicing at home or other resources that the parents can take home and peruse on their own time.
Probably the best bulletin board ever (plus you put it up once and add to it throughout the year---pretty low maintenance). Teacher shrunk down the covers of books, printed, laminated, and hangs them as they read. What a fun, memorable visual!
parent involvement- I have heard this over and over. But I can tell you this: Positive parent involvement means NOTHING if there is lack of parent involvement from the teachers end. Communication with the parent is a MUST!
